How to Reset Local Admin Password Mac

Login to Single-Sign in mode - Power of the machine, Press Command+s


  • Type fsck -fy (Check or repair file system)
  • Type mount -uw /
  • Type passwd administrator
  • Enter the new password twice
  • Type reboot
